Project planning is carried out during all phases of the project execution and covers the general as well as the more detailed time planning, as it is required by the project progress.
CONTEC utilizes all computerized techniques/tools to enable identification of potential problem areas and to define alternative approaches to project execution. Such techniques are:

- ·CPM ( critical path method)
- PERT (project evaluation and review techniques)
- WBS (Work breakdown structure)
The software that is used is the MS Project, the Suretrack and the Primavera.
